Mrs. Eames is a native of Arizona and moved to Kansas City in 2003 to help found a Christian school in the Northland. She earned her degree in secondary education at Arizona State University and did graduate work there and at the University of Phoenix. She also completed Spanish course work through the University of Arizona, where she lived and studied in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Mrs. Eames has been involved in Christian education for over 35 years in teaching English, literature, rhetoric, Bible, and Spanish, and in administration, college guidance counseling, and theater directing. This past year she worked for ACSI in Colorado Springs, but she and her family have now returned to Missouri to be near their children/grandchildren. The Eames have three children David, 31; Jonathan, 27; and Kristen, 25. Mrs. Eames is eagerly looking forward to serving at SCA as this year’s college/career advisor.

“Christian education has been a passion for my husband and me; early on we covenanted to provide a Christian school education for all three of our children, who have graduated and are now adults. They are continuing this legacy with their own children, our grandchildren. The reward of Christian education for me has been to watch students grow to know and love Christ and develop a biblical worldview and to watch them evolve into life-long lovers of learning and excellence in all that they pursue and achieve. It is my desire as the college/career advisor at SCA to help students discover the passion and gifts God has given each one of them as they continue on their life’s journey and discover their stories in His overall plan. ‘Vocation is not so much a matter of what we do; rather it is a matter of what God does in and through us.’"  ~Martin Luther
