Summit Christian Academy had the privilege of hosting a visiting scholar from Beijing, China, who is presently doing research at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. Cong Liu, Mingyan Den, and Pan Dong, three Chinese engineering students, visited SCA students on Monday, November 21. They shared lunch with students interested in the engineering field, and visited College English, Government, and Chinese classes.
Part of the mission of Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is to ignite a sense of purpose and compassion in the hearts of students. These qualities played a role in the decision of three students and a teacher to donate 49 inches of hair.
