SCA Volleyball Players Receive Honors in Post-Season

Volleyball All-Star Team

SCA’s Kansas City / Northwest Class 2 Athletes- Juniors Madyson Harmon and Keeli Shearer, with SCA’s MO-KAN All-Star Athletes- Seniors Savvy Hughes and Leah Nigh.

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that several SCA volleyball stand-outs have been recognized. Seniors Savvy Hughes and Leah Nigh have been placed on the 18th Annual MO-KAN All-Star Team, the highest honor a Metro volleyball player can earn. Junior Keeli Shearer was named to the Kansas City/Northwest Class 2 1st team all region and junior Madyson Harmon was named to the 2nd team all region. The team was the Class 2 District 15 Champions for the fourth year in a row.

Hughes and Nigh, along with their families, and coaches are invited to attend the MO-KAN All-Star banquet on Saturday, November 15. The All-Star Match is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, where the Missouri team will compete against the Kansas team.

“These girls have worked so hard all season, and it is a great honor for them to be nominated for these teams,” said Varsity Volleyball Coach Mikki Shearer, “I am excited to watch them compete in the match this weekend.”
