(Lee’s Summit) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that several soloists and four high school choir ensembles received a “1” rating at the Missouri State High School Activities Association District Solo and Ensemble Festival on Saturday. The event, held at Grain Valley High School, qualified the vocalists to compete at the State Music Festival on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia on May 1.

“I am so encouraged by the way our

students present themselves as we continue to compete at this level in MSHSAA,” said SCA Secondary Choir Teacher, Mrs. Trissa Lucht. “The students’ hard work and dedication were evident in their performances, and I’m excited that this group has earned the privilege to compete at the next level.”
