Summit Christian Academy (SCA) recently held a school spirit event at Paradise Park where the students helped to raise money for the school by participating in a night of fun. Representative Carolyn Rodriguez recently presented a check of a portion of their sales to SCA.

As part of the spirit event, students participated in a classroom attendance contest. The classroom with the greatest percentage of student attendance won a $100 classroom grant, and the classes with the greatest number of student attendance won free passes for a future visit to Paradise Park. This year, SCA Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Sue Santon won the $100 attendance contest for the fourth time in five years. SCA Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Sheri Stiglic’s class tied Santon’s class with the same number of students in attendance (though it was a lower percentage of her class as a whole) and won free passes for a future visit.

This year, Paradise Park offered an additional raffle for all families in attendance. First grade student Leah Yancey won the grand prize of “Max Paks” for a family of four for a year.

SCA thanks Paradise Park for their generosity and partnership.
