(Lee’s Summit, MO) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) Junior High students and teachers recently had the opportunity to put their faith into action during SCA’s annual service day. One of SCA’s core values is to Cultivate Community. One of the ways that SCA cultivates community is through the school’s annual Service Day. On this day the entire school steps beyond the classrooms at SCA and into the community to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the field through service.

This year, the Junior High students made a difference in the community by serving in venues including Harvesters, Salvation Army Youth Camp, and John Knox Village Care Center.
