Our School Spirit Lasts An Eternity

The Golden Eagle Express Has Landed at Summit Christian Academy

(LEE’S SUMMIT, MO) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) has added a new mode of transportation to the campus. SCA is excited to welcome the Golden Eagle Express to the campus. For the past 12 months, SCA’s Student Council (STUCO) has been saving funds to purchase a golf cart. The golf cart, AKA the Golden Eagle Express, will be used to transport SCA grandparents to and from the parking lot for sporting events, Grandparents’ Day, and other individuals who need transportation assistance.  STUCO decided last year that there was a big need for this transportation cart and set their minds to saving for it. The money they saved came directly from sales in the STUCO store.

STUCO has a long history of giving back to SCA. Throughout the years, STUCO has purchased school landscaping, two heart defibrillators for the high school gym, shelving for the music department, a super-projector (with pull-down screen), and 100% of the televisions displayed in the high school.

We recently caught up with STUCO Staff Advisors and Board Members for a photo opportunity with their newly refurbished Golden Eagle Express.  Thank you STUCO for blessing our SCA grandparents and parents with such a thoughtful gift!
