Our School Spirit Lasts An Eternity

SCA Students Serve Kansas City

SCA fifth grader Nevaeh Cox helped sort bread at Harvester’s during SCA’s Service Day. The fifth grade classes also sorted vegetables and packaged them in smaller portions for families to use and sorted sandwiches and pastries from Quik Trip for redistribution.

SCA Juniors and Seniors did landscaping and painting/staining at Bridge of Hope Community Church.

(Lee’s Summit, MO) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) students and teachers recently had the opportunity to put their faith into action during SCA’s annual service day. One of SCA’s core values is to Cultivate Community, and a way that SCA accomplishes this is through the school’s annual Service Days. Each grade has a day that they step beyond the classrooms at SCA and into the community to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the field through service.

Students spent time working at organizations such as Harvesters, Hope Network, and Hillcrest Transitional Living Store.
