SCA Senior Receives Local Scholarships

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that Senior Madelyn Mahurin recently received two scholarships from local businesses and organizations.

Mahurin received a $500 Education Award from the Kansas City chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames.  Students submitted applications which took into consideration their GPA, community service, and an essay.

Mahurin also received a $1,000 scholarship from Integrity Roofing, Siding, and Windows.  Students applied for the scholarship by writing an essay explaining what integrity means to them and describing how they have demonstrated integrity.  This is the sixth year that Integrity has provided a $1,000 one-time scholarship for a graduating SCA Senior.
