I grew up in Pleasant Hill, Missouri under the diligent, loving care of two exceptional parents and with the company of one beloved sister. I became enraptured with history in high school during a tough, college-level course. During my undergraduate years the Lord began developing my passion for students as well through two internships at LSCC and several camp-counseling opportunities. I have been blessed to instruct students from a wide array of backgrounds and in a variety of settings. Whether as a clinician at Applied Learning Processes, or a recreation leader at Camp Del-haven, I have loved building relationships and watching students blossom. (I also love cooking, going for walks, seeing the world, and watching Royals baseball!).
