I grew up in Pleasant Hill, Missouri under the diligent, loving care of two exceptional parents and with the company of one beloved sister. I became enraptured with history in high school during a tough, college-level course. During my undergraduate years the Lord began developing my passion for students as well through two internships at LSCC and several camp-counseling opportunities. I have been blessed to instruct students from a wide array of backgrounds and in a variety of settings. Whether as a clinician at Applied Learning Processes, or a recreation leader at Camp Del-haven, I have loved building relationships and watching students blossom. (I also love cooking, going for walks, seeing the world, and watching Royals baseball!).
"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires." 2 Peter 1: 3-4
