Tuition Assistance
In an effort to handle requests for tuition assistance in the most effective and efficient way, SCA uses the services of FACTS Management’s Grant and Aid Assessment to process tuition assistance applications. The SCA Tuition Assistance Committee makes the final determination of tuition assistance awards. Grants for tuition assistance may not exceed 50% per family.
Summit Christian Academy is accepting Tuition Assistance applications for the 2012/2013 school year beginning on February 1 through August 30. We encourage you to make application for assistance as early as possible, as tuition assistance funds are limited.
Families applying for assistance submit an online application to FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment at https://www.factstuitionaid.com/FACTS/gaapp. The following information is required in order for FACTS to process your application:
- SCA enrollment paperwork for students to attend the school.
- FACTS application (completed online).
- Payment of the nonrefundable $25 application fee.
- Copies of your 2011 tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of 2011 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
- Per SCA policy, to be considered for tuition assistance, accounts must be current or acceptable payment arrangements made on existing balances.
If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 1-866-315-9262. Other questions may be directed to Kristie Logan in the finance office at 816-525-1480.
Please pray that the Lord would guide and direct the Tuition Assistance Committee as they seek to meet the needs of as many families as possible.
