Our School Spirit Lasts An Eternity
"Many many thanks to the High School baseball team ... They came to our Lee's Summit neighborhood and had a workout together clearing snow from driveways . . ."
".This school has some awesome high school students. They worked diligently at Beaumont Baptist Church...cleaning, brush removal...Thanks is such a small word... I saw the hands and . . ."
"The teachers and staff of Summit Christian Academy (LSCCS when I was there) will never know how much they impacted my life. I moved . . ."
From the beginning, SCA has thrived because of the faith of those who believed in its unique mission. It has always been a Journey of Faith. That legacy manifests itself in the lives of students equipped to compete at the collegiate level, grounded in God’s truth and eager to unravel God’s plan for their lives.
None of this could happen without the faithful partnership of His people. We are thankful for the commitment of time, prayer, and financial gifts, which encourage a sense of community and help SCA accomplish our most important goal of inspiring students.
The Three-Stranded Cord
Visualize the SCA charitable giving program as a three-stranded cord. Alone, the strands can be easily broken. But braided together, its strength is multiplied. Each strand is equally important to the overall integrity of the cord.
The strands represent three areas of Charitable Giving: the Educational Enhancement Fund, Planned Giving, and Capital Giving.
The Educational Enhancement Fund is designed to cover the shortfall between tuition and the actual cost of an SCA education.
Planned Giving ensures the future of the school by building the SCA Endowment Fund. There are a variety of creative ways to make a planned gift including a gift of stock or property, remembering SCA in your will or estate plans, matching gift programs, gift annuities, etc. Many of these, when properly planned, result in significant tax savings.
Capital Giving campaigns raise dollars to build new facilities that allow for growth and provide space for new programs.
