SCA Announces Students of the Year

SCA Senior Reagan Lyle, pictured with Secondary Principal and Operations Director Joe Hesman, was recently named as SCA’s Secondary Christian Character Student of the Year.

SCA Fifth grade student Karsyn Crowther was recently named as SCA’s Elementary Christian Character Student of the Year.

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is recently announced the Elementary and Secondary Christian Character Students of the Year.

Fifth grade student Karsyn Crowther has been selected as the 2018 SCA Elementary Christian Character Student of the Year. Karsyn, daughter of Andrew and Tiffany Crowther of Lee’s Summit, has been at SCA for six years and was on the A/B Honor Roll for the entire year. Karsyn is involved in basketball and played one of the lead roles in the 5th Grade Musical.

“Karsyn consistently demonstrates compassion and kindness to other students and is always looking for ways to be helpful,” shared Elementary Vice-Principal Charissa Sanders. “We are so proud of her!”

Senior Reagan Lyle, daughter of Drs. John and Stacy Lyle of Kansas City, has been selected as the 2018 SCA Secondary Christian Character Student of the Year. Reagan has attended SCA for four years and was a member of the varsity volleyball team, Student Council, Writer’s Corner, National Honor Society, and the Student Ambassador Program. She also earned an Academic Letter.

“Reagan is a phenomenal young lady that has allowed her smile and heart to shine for the Lord in everything she does,” said Secondary Principal Joe Hesman. “She has such a compassionate heart and is quick to help others in any way that she can. Reagan can be seen with a smile on her face and giving her best in everything she does. I am so blessed that I was able to see how the Lord worked through her in so many ways this year!”

Reagan will attend Seattle Pacific University in the fall, where she received academic scholarships, and will major in Marine Biology.
