SCA International Students Host International Experience

Chopstick technique and Chinese cuisine were shared in the China region of SCA’s International Experience.

(Lee’s Summit, MO) Summit Christian Academy (SCA) International Department and foreign language classes recently hosted an International Experience for the SCA secondary community.  

This school year, SCA is host to 23 international students from six countries. At the International Experience, these students were able to showcase their home countries of France, Russia, Peru, Brazil, South Korea, and China. The interactive evening included games, dance, street market bartering, music, crafts, currency exchange, and ethnic cuisine.

“At SCA, we desire to equip our students to be world changers and global citizens,” shared SCA International Director Kathy Tharp. “Our students are building friendships and an understanding of God’s heart for the world.”
