Summit Christian Academy (SCA) senior Rachel Beumer recently signed a letter of intent for instrumental performance and music education with MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU).

Rachel was selected as a recipient of a Music Major Scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year at MNU. Music scholarships are awarded to a select group of students who have demonstrated significant accomplishment and potential in both academics and performance.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Rachel,” shared SCA Fine Arts Coordinator & High School Choral Music Faculty member Mrs. Trissa Lucht. “She will be performing in the University’s Bell Cultural Events Center, which is a state-of-the-art facility that offers an exceptionally high tech sound environment with the best audio-visual equipment. This will be an outstanding environment for her to grow in her musical endeavors as a collegiate musician.”
