SCA Named a Top Five Private School for Sixth Year in a Row

Summit Christian Academy has been ranked fifth in the Kansas City Business Journal’s list of Top Area Private Schools. This is SCA’s sixth consecutive year to be ranked in the top five. Located on 40 acres in Lee’s Summit, MO. SCA is celebrating 30 years of providing excellent academics in a Christian environment to the Kansas City metro area.

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that they have been ranked fifth in the Kansas City-Metro area top private schools list by the Kansas City Business Journal. This is the sixth consecutive year that SCA has been ranked as a top five private school.

 

The Kansas City Business Journal’s annual compilation of private schools, The List, determines school rankings based on fall enrollment figures submitted from each school. Various other characteristics are also noted, including student to teacher ratio, tuition, and academic curriculum. SCA was also ranked third by, The List, in comparison to other private schools based on the number of teachers with a total of 76 teachers. Pembroke Hill was ranked first with 107 teachers and Rockhurst High School second with 83 teachers.

Established in 1989, SCA is celebrating 30 years of providing excellent academics in a Christian environment to the Kansas City metro area. SCA is an independent, non-denominational Christian school serving 845 preschool through high school students.  Located on a 36-acre campus, SCA holds dual accreditation through North Central Association and Association of Christian Schools International.
