SCA Art to be Featured at Missouri Capitol for Third Year

SCA freshman Yuna (Alyn) Shin’s painting was selected by State Senator Mike Cierpiot as the 2020 Senate District Eight Art Exhibit Winner and will be displayed at the Missouri State Capitol.

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that freshman Yuna (Alyn) Shin was selected as the 2020 Missouri Senate District Eight Art Exhibit Winner.

Each of Missouri’s thirty-four State Senators view work submitted from their district and select one image to represent them. The chosen images are printed and displayed at the Missouri State Capitol throughout the year to advocate legislator support for the arts.

Alyn’s acrylic painting will be on display through the end of the year in the Senate Hallway at the State Capital in Jefferson City.  The exhibit is located on the grounds of the capitol in the Hallway that leads from the Senate parking to the Capitol ground floor entrance. The original piece is on display in the SCA Secondary Building.
