SCA Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Goppert Classroom Wing

The community is invited to SCA’s Goppert Classroom Wing Ribbon Cutting from 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. on Monday, January 27. Tours of the building will be available after the ceremony.

(Lee’s Summit) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to invite the community to the upcoming ribbon cutting ceremony for the Goppert Classroom Wing addition from 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. on Monday, January 27. The ceremony will be in the Secondary Gymnasium and the event will continue into the halls of the new wing as the campus and donors join together to pray over the new classrooms.

The 11,000 square foot Goppert Classroom Wing will include nine interactive learning classrooms, a nurse’s office, restrooms, and more.

“The new classrooms will be a blessing to both secondary and elementary students,” shared SCA Head of School Linda Harrelson. “This addition doubles the current classroom space we have for our secondary students and now all of their classes will be located in the new classroom wing that is connected to our current secondary building, and we will still have a few electives in the modular buildings. We are celebrating the school’s 30th anniversary this year and give glory to God for all that He has accomplished in and through us over the years. How exciting it is to be part of a mission that inspires students to achieve their God-given potential.”

The new Goppert Classroom Wing will open for SCA Secondary students on January 27. Tours of the addition will be available following the ceremony.
