Summit Christian Academy (SCA) recently hosted elected officials and local stakeholders for its third annual Legislative Breakfast.

Lawmakers participated in a question and answer panel, and shared what is happening at the federal and state levels. Students and parents were encouraged to get involved in the legislative process and were inspired to find a voice in government.

“In our mission to inspire students to reach their God-given potential, the Legislative Breakfast has been an inspiring civics lesson,” shared SCA Academic Dean Dr. Kimberlee Gill. “We are excited to have the opportunity to aid our students, and even our parents, in using their voice to help partner on legislative issues. What a blessing it has been to have many of our representatives so willing to carve out time to listen and share.”
