SCA Vocal & Instrumental Musicians earn Gold Medals at State Music Festival
(Lee’s Summit, MO) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that eleven soloists and four ensembles received the top rating (1) at the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) State Music Festival.
Soloists earning a gold medal included sophomores Olivia Truesdale, Shea Rider, Keyler Quessenberry, and Catherine Cramer, junior Hudson Harris, and seniors Grace Filer, Zack Oppriecht, Mackenzie Madsen, Alysa Ward, and Annie Harsch.
Ensembles earning a gold medal included:
Junior Men: Spencer Dickey, Zac Beasley, Eli Burns, Brennen Ross, Hudson Harris
Senior Women: Grace Filer, Alysa Ward, Mackenzie Madsen, Annie Harsch
Combined Men: Collin Pemberton, Hunter Harris, Brennen Ross, Tyler Simpson, Ryan Wagy, Zack Oppriecht, Grant Fristo, Ian Ferguson
Combined Women: Catherine Cramer, Olivia Truesdale, Shea Rider, Lilly Teilborg, Karinton Newton, Anna Hammond, Abigayle Cook, Nora Schuh
Senior Benjamin Schwab received a gold rating for his cello solo.
