Mrs. Schueller came to SCA during her master's degree internship program. She discovered the school during a curiosity-driven Google search after watching "Facing the Giants" and dreaming of being able to teach with God instead of apart from Him. She sat in on classes and learned how wonderful the school is from the inside out. After completing her master's program, she taught 2nd grade at a local public school, as there were no openings at SCA at the time.

“God used that time to show me how phenomenal Christian education is and how much I wanted to be a part of it. I had great relationships in public school and incredible students, but felt like I couldn't teach real truth the way I had seen it done at SCA. God stretched my expectations by providing a 4th grade position at SCA the next year. I had the most amazing students, parents of students, and co-workers. I taught 4th grade for two years at SCA and then moved to 3rd grade. I have enjoyed teaching 3rd grade for the few years I have, and I look forward to many to come.  God is good, and I am thrilled to minister to another group of students this year!”

Favorite Scripture
"Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's words is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out." Ephesians 6:13-18 (The Message)
