Mrs. Tschida joined the SCA faculty in 2019. She and her husband moved to Lee’s Summit in June 2018 from Omaha. She began her teaching career in 3rd grade and and is blessed to be back with this age group again.

"I love teaching! Children have a very high value in God’s heart. Many times, Jesus compares receiving the Kingdom of Heaven to childlikeness. “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these’,” Matthew 19:14. At SCA, I recognize the supreme privilege I have to be part of imparting God’s heart to these future world-changers."

Mrs. Tschida and her husband have recently become empty nesters with three adult children. Lindsay, who is married to Jeff, and lives in Omaha. They have three young children, Silas, Weston & Isabella. Katelyn is married to Brian and they live in Florida (Kristen’s happy place). And Jonathan, their youngest who recently joined a start-up tech company in Omaha.
