Dr. Reedy is in his 16th contract year teaching at Summit Christian Academy. He currently teaches senior dual-credit college English composition courses, offered in conjunction with Southwest Baptist University, Victorian Literature in conjunction with St. Louis University, and Junior English III. Dr. Reedy is lifetime certified with ACSI and has a professional teaching certificate for life from the State of Missouri.

Dr. Reedy, having served as a pastor for 20 years and an apostle and church planter for 17 years, received his education from Baylor University (BA in journalism & communications); from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. in theology and a D. Min. in Biblical Studies and Homiletics); and from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi (M.A. in English–Rhetoric and Composition). He completed 30 hours of a Ph.D. program from Texas Christian University (Classical Rhetoric, Post-Structural Rhetoric/Post-modernism, and Victorian Authorship) and is ABD.

Saved at the age of 14, Dr. Reedy responded to the call to preach at age 18. He served as the pastor of a number of Southern Baptist churches until he encountered the Holy Spirit in a fresh way, which led him to into teaching and church planting. Currently, Dr. Reedy is a part of an apostolic team of the Four12 network of churches.  

Dr. Reedy has published two books entitled The Hand of Zerubbabel (1994), based on the fourth chapter of Zachariah and Wrestling with God: Evangelicals and the Holy Spirit (2015). For the Joy: Praise and the Cross of Christ was released in (2019) and The Apostle: Metaphors of an Emerging Ministry will be released by October 2019. Manuscripts in process include The Five-Fold Ministry and the Armor of God and Healing and Freedom for the Wounded Heart. Dr. Reedy has begun his own publishing company: Roar Publications and is working on an online Journal that addresses issues in both sacred and secular culture.

Dr. Reedy married his wife Kathy in June of 1980.They have four children: Matthew (age 36), Heather (age 35), Timothy (age 33) and Sarah (age 31) and three grandchildren: Zoe, Madison, Elodie, and one on the way.
