SCA Facility

The SCA campus is conveniently located on 36 acres near a major highway intersection in southeastern Lee's Summit, Missouri. Facilities include an elementary building completed in 2000 and a secondary building completed in 2006 that houses administrative offices, secondary students and a preschool wing.  

Directions to SCA

Due to ongoing road construction, Jefferson Street is currently one-way for northbound traffic only. We recommend the following for those traveling to SCA via 291:

Once northbound on Jefferson Street, SCA will be about ¼ of a mile north on the west side of Jefferson Street.

To enter into the Early Education/Secondary/administration building, please use the first entrance to SCA on the left. For the Elementary (K-6th grades), please use the fourth entrance on the west side directly past the Elementary Building. Visitor parking is located in front of the Early Education/Secondary/administration and Elementary buildings.


The elementary school is located at 1450 SW Jefferson in Lee’s Summit. The 55,000-square-foot school building, four modular buildings, two playgrounds, a soccer field and a baseball field.
In the fall of 1999, the doors of the first phase of this facility were opened to 331 students. Phase I included ten classrooms, a multi-purpose gymnasium, and administrative space. The second phase was completed for the start of the next school year adding 14 more classrooms, a library and a commons. 
Architects for the project were Guenther, Mills, Keating and the builders were HGK Construction. 



The secondary school is located at 1500 SW Jefferson in Lee's Summit. The 46,000-square-foot first phase of the new junior/senior high school facility was completed in 2006 and students moved in January 2007. Located next to the elementary building, this facility is designed to accommodate our fast growing student body. In 2016 SCA purchased the lot on the west side of Jefferson adding an additional acre to the campus.
The facility has classroom space, two fully-equipped science labs, a multi-purpose room, a state-of-the-art media center, administrative offices, and a preschool wing. Future phases will include a two-story classroom wing, gymnasium and a performing arts center.
