Mrs. Teilborg joined the SCA family and faculty in 2012. Mrs. Teilborg shared that God’s timing was and is always perfect, as it was when He called her to teach here. Prior to SCA, Mrs. Teilborg taught in the Public School as a Title 1 Assistant, worked as the Director of Head Start and in the Early Education arena for 11 years, and homeschooled her children for five years. Mrs. Teilborg has three children, one graduated from SCA in 2017, and two that currently attend SCA.

"I love being part of the SCA family! One of my life verses is Jeremiah 29:11. Not only do I know that God has a plan for me, but He has a plan for each of my students. I can't wait to be a part of their individual journeys."

This scripture truly sums up Mrs. Teilborg's approach to education. God is in control!

Just after joining the faculty, Mrs. Teilborg was made aware of the SCA International Program. This opportunity at SCA turned into an important ministry for the entire Teilborg family. Since 2013, the family has served as a host family for students from China and Spain. "We love having children from all over the world," shared Mrs. Teilborg.

"I am passionate about teaching, encouragement, and discipleship," shared Mrs. Teilborg. "These passions are evident in my classroom. I enjoy getting to know each child in my class and finding ways to connect and encourage the learning process. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and family, learning about different cultures, and having coffee dates with my friends. In addition, I am currently working on my masters degree at Johns Hopkins University.   Grace has been a huge theme in my life, so this verse sums up why I’m here.”

But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. And I’m not about to let his grace go to waste."
