Mrs. Ferguson graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's in Prosthetics and Orthotics. She practiced in the Kansas City area for 13 years before choosing to be a stay at home mom and pursue her Master's in Education. Her son Collin is a 2011 SCA graduate and holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. Her daughter Hannah is a 2012 SCA graduate and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Missouri State University. She is currently working in Seattle. Her youngest son Ian is a junior at SCA this year.

Mrs. Ferguson is starting her 15th year of teaching at SCA. She was named the SCA 2016 Teacher of the Year. She has taught junior high and high school science and math classes. "I am so thankful and blessed for families that choose Christian education and are willing to share their children with us. I am honored to show them God's creation and help them understand their purpose in it."
